Little of how I think has changed in the 40 years since I turned 21. I am more environmentally friendly, and will no longer have deep discussions about religious beliefs. As long as someone's beliefs and practices do not harm or oppress others I am fine with them. No one is really going to know who is right until they depart this world and they won't be able to report back.
I used to throw things out there for discussion, but I stopped doing that as it was pointless.

What you have going on in your home is right for you. Constantly saying that you have a dislike for someone because they are religious is just like saying you have a dislike for those who are black. You get to hate those who are different, very few people will hate you just because of the idiot that you have become. When someone finds peace of mind because religion is part of their life no matter how much of a part of it you should not constantly attack it. The attack or war on religion is pathetic and is taken to new levels by those who have a dislike to the point of insanity.
