I just kind of wish these amazing guys in charge, like Zelensky, would actually think...and maybe CHECK to make sure it wasn't one of his...before he goes off jumping around yelling for the start of WW3...but maybe that's just me...

Zelensky is so smart and studly. Who would think he'd do it to escalate and bring in the US?

Or... Zelensky is trying to leverage dead Polish citizens into more aid and tougher policies towards Russia.
Which is what he should be doing.

At the end of day it wouldn't matter the flag on the side of those missiles anyway... its still Russia's fault.
Ukrainian S300s don't leave the tubes unless they're trying to intercept Russian inbounds.

Certainly possible.
I'd hold judgement on it until the teams investigate it. We know it was a S300 but we also know Russia is so short on ordinance they've been repurposing S300s for land attack which is... well... not ideal.
End of the day this will result in increased ADS for Poland and East NATO and likely for Ukraine as this is the equipment they've been harping for for awhile now.
The German Iris-T is the latest to get its live-fire testing trials in Ukraine and from reports its a lights out system.

You're the one who said they've been harping on it for a while...
Why would anyone try and force that issue from the Ukrainian side, right? People never look to game the system...especially a fine upstanding country like Ukraine.

Nothing you're suggesting survives even the slightest bit of scrutiny.
I'll just say this; a refugee crises because they can't keep their electrical grid up "games the system" more than a couple of dead nationals and a wrecked farm building.
Again... your thought process is fascinating.
Stuff goes up and stuff comes down... this isn't the first time something from this conflict has landed somewhere it wasn't supposed to but... this time... you've got it all figured out.

What are you talking about?
Poland and Ukraine are, for all practical purposes, on the same side. The Polish government has actually been more aggressive in aid and rhetoric than any other member of the alliance.
Hell, if we supplied Poland with updated THAAD they would likely just as soon ship some of their older Patriot systems down to Ukraine.
