The friend I said was the very poor driver who never drove over the speed limit made the front page of the Mountain News. The idiot drove into the opposing lane on a blind curve to keep from rear ending someone when he could have went right and drove into a huge lookout point turn out that was unoccupied. His 1970 Maverick was flattened by a semi coming the other way. The only injury he got was cut on glass crawling out. The car looked like no one in it should have survived.
