Well, here I am again. The real reason I wrote that was because I acknowledged that I had made an assumption. This is apparently not enough for you, so whatever. It is also frustrating that you chose to ignore that I agreed with you about the response to covid-19 and extended well wishes for health to you and your family. Like I said before, I was not trying to be an asshole. I am not sure what your deal is.

Huge difference.
The foreclosure is usually filed thru State sanctioned courts. Mostly at the county level, but under state rules. Now do you get how a Governor can stop it?

Don't worry, Kingfin. When the stock market rallies he'll like you again.

Ralph,
We managed to about $1600.00 in to go sales yesterday. Hoping that will increase as folks become more & more frustrated with sheltering. Everyone eventually gets tired of their own cooking! I'm looking for business to increase this wknd.
Hope you're hanging in there man

Another guy who doesn't work for a living.
No wonder you're so nonchalant with what's happening out there.

Here's something I haven't heard talked about...
Germany
#5 on the list of number of infections...15,320
only 44 deaths...that's regular flu death rate.... .2%
Spain has 17,000 cases and over 800 deaths
Why aren't Germans dying from this disease?
Germany ranks #6 in the world with percentage of population 65 or older at 21%, so it's not like they are a young country and that skews the stats.
Italy has the second highest older population at 22.8% and we all know what's happening there.

More testing/better healthcare? Don't really know. Good question.

You have no idea what you are talking about...of course I work for a living. And you've become a tad confusing to me lately. On the one hand...you put on a brave facade and tell everyone to "stop overreacting"...and yet you stated yesterday that you haven't left your own home for a week now. Is your act here a "do as I say and not as I do" performance?

Staying at home is a perfectly reasonable response/request to this virus.
Shutting everything down completely is not. That's been my whole point.
The only thing I agree with shutting down is concerts and sporting events where people sit/stand basically on top of one another, and schools.
Everything else should have been allowed to remain open - including racetracks where there is always 6ft or more of personal space available...and usually way more than that...lol

I know what the President was going to say about possibility of medications today. And I expect a fast track at the FDA specific to a in America clinical study. If that happens it could lead to a fast track back to work for our country. That is a what should be the what everyone might want to think about.

If everyone followed the "perfectly reasonable request" to lock themselves home and stop going out...how many businesses do you suppose could remain open out there...coronavirus or no coronavirus? The minute people realize that it's unsafe to go out of their homes, panic sets in automatically...and everything grinds to a halt. It's a chain reaction...and nothing that anybody says can make any difference.

It could also mean that these "fast-track" medications haven't been tested enough for side-effects. Sticky subject...IMO.

Plenty of people, even now, continue to go out shopping. Grocery stores have developed special shopping times for people 65+...other now-shuttered businesses could have developed similar plans but weren't even given that option.
