Well, if you're a high (enough) IQ, at some point you say, "I haven't done enough."
Do you remember the bean bag game from kindergarten?
You know... the one where each kid is handed a couple of beanbags to throw through the clowns mouth?
The book says that it is a test.
There are 3 kinds of kids.
** Most kids stand about 5-8 feet away and give it their best shot. Win some, lose some.
** Some kids stand up very close - like 2 feet away, and make sure they never miss.
** A few kids stand like 15 feet away and heave it from the cheap seats.
Most kids are the normal ones. For them, it is just a game, and winning or losing comes naturally, and is taken in stride.
Some kids are afraid to lose, so they must stand up close.
A few kids will be shooting from a long way back because, even at this very young age, they've already learned that it only matters if you do
great things. Anything less is a waste of time and energy.
When I read that, I gained a huge understanding about myself.
