Ouch. It's true, but ouch! However, it never occurred to me to track down the person who wrote the Footnotes of the race so I could give them a call to berate them. They simply did their job and reported the facts.

I've been guilty about feeling a moment of disappointment when I read the chart comments about a horse I had a piece of. It passes, of course.
When Jim Hannon did charts at Suffolk Downs years ago he wrote my all-time favorite chart comment ever: "appeared disinterested in racing."

Dang, being too serious again, am I?
And here I thought I was being funny.
Gotta admit that I want to run screaming from the political forum stuff. Guess I was looking for a non-political outlet.
Sorry, 'bout that.

No offense was taken.
Was just concerned I'd sent the wrong message.

LOL!
I got over it around the time Bold Article broke her maiden in her next race at Churchill.
Look for her somewhere on a card at Keeneland next weekend. (Yes, fifth track in five starts.) If it goes, it will be 8.5 furlongs on dirt for 2-year-old fillies. We're pretty sure she wants to route.

Oops. Change of plans. Bold Article will run in the second race at Keeneland on 10/23. 6.5 furlongs on dirt. I think my gal looks pretty decent in this race. And she'll get Tyler for the third time. She ran her most disciplined race (a winning effort) under Tyler at Churchill back on 9/26. Which also puts her at a 3 lb. disadvantage in this race. But she's a big hoss. 3 lbs. is no big deal.

Just curious if you've been at the track for all her starts? Good luck.

Unfortunately, no. Haven't seen her run in person. I am in PA, and she has raced at Gulfstream, Saratoga, KY Downs, Churchill, and now Keeneland. I don't have that many miles. But I have watched her races live either on TV or online.
But a few of the partners were able to watch her break her maiden at Churchill. Saw them in the winner's circle. I was insanely jealous of them.
