Not my god, you confuse me with someone else.

For anyone interested, here's a lifetime chart of btc. not bad for something that could have gone to zero .

the price chart looks great but how come the volume has fallen off the map?

Forgetting about the epic early volume and the spikes, the volume in $$$ Terms is pretty constant, which is to be expected for a 'currency'.

That site has an option to view volume in currency terms which shows this.

I actually think the price is absurd. But like a 1st time Rudy horse with bad figs, you have to respect the stats.
