IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Check out the TEAM SIGN-UP thread so you know exactly who is on your team.

2. Communicate with your teammates to arrive at your concensus selections for the contest.

3. Only one post allowed per team. Appoint one player to post on behalf of the entire team. All eight races must be posted at the same time. Please ensure you include your Team Number when posting selections.

4. Coupled entries are considered one betting interest.

5. Once posts are made they may not be changed. (except for normal site editing period)

6. Posts must be made one full minute prior to the official DRF "off time".

7. Teams that fail to post on time will only be scored on races run one full minute after their post.

8. All games this season will be scored as "open competitions" with no Divisional matchups.

9. Two options for posting selections:

3 Selection Method
3 – 7 – 4 (12 – 8) top 3 picks with the alternates being 12 & 8 in that order. Team would receive $6.00 payouts for #3; $4.00 payouts for #7; and $2.00 payouts for #4 for Win/Place/Show (assuming no scratches)
Team would receive $3.00 Exacta Box Payout using #3, #7 & #4

2 Selection Method
3 – 3 – 7 (4 – 12) top 2 picks with the alternates being 4 & 12 in that order.
Team would receive $6.00 payouts for #3; $4.00 payouts for #3; and $2.00 payouts for #7 for Win/Place/Show (assuming no scratches)
Team would receive 4 x $3.00 Exacta Ticket with 3-7
and 2 x $3.00 Exacta Ticket with 7-3

Thanks Jay.
Having been on a team that was both first and last in this contest over the weeks and years, I was wondering when the Playoff dates started.

The contest isn't easy by any means.
Certainly a move by many of the lower teams puts them in contention and a couple of poor days by the contentious teams puts them out.

For me, whether our team makes the premium cut or not,
the contest has been very enjoyable.
It finds me playing several races and tracks that I would normally never even consider playing, as a bettor.
But that is also what makes this contest quite challenging.
I think that whoever wins this challenge will have done very well.
Also, I'm absolutely certain that there are some pretty damn good handicappers on those teams who, for whatever reason, don't make the top tier ( and of course that could be our team), might beat the pants off any of us on any given day or perhaps even over a stretch of time.

Also thank you to your team of scorers.
For sure, not an easy job.

League play ends after 14 weeks (April 5th) and will then enjoy a one-week break (no play April 12th).

Playoffs will cover 4 days beginning Saturday, April 19th and Saturday, April 26th. Derby weekend of Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd from Churchill Downs will round out the playoff season.

All teams participate in the playoff run, either in Group "A" or Group "B".
