Is it just me?

Myself, I have absolutely NO interest in the Triple Crown anymore.
Maybe I have short attention span, but it is old now, just who is left out there escapes me, and the whole circus has lost its appeal.

I am much more interested in the older horses and could not care less what a 3 year old does right now. Toga, Del Mar, all the good turf racing, the big stakes for older - who cares about the 3 yr old anymore.

Not me.

Not a lot.
If a decent bet presents itself, but I am not blocking out any time on my calendar to watch either of them. IF a nap comes around, neither one will beat it out!

Not interested in anything at Monmouth on any day. Typically a really s****hole track. Lousy fields, sanctioned druggers, terrible track itself.

If Tiz the Law wins the Derby, there is going to be huge interest in whether he can complete the TC AND whether it will "count". Similar to all the publicity golf got as to whether Tiger Woods' fake grand slam counted.

it really does feel different when the Haskell and Travers are being run before Kentucky.

we have been getting 20 horse fields for the Derby year after year. i wonder how many will enter this year that are light on chances.

I'm loving the game, and the second half of this season (including the Derby, and 3yo division).

It does 'feel' very different.

Following the form of the prep horses.

Gambling on some nice fields.

But, the 'fan' in me hasn't even fully digested the situation. I don't know what the hell is going on.

The big 3
  1. Tiz the Law
  2. Honor A.P.
  3. Authentic

Have captured some of my imagination.

I'm mildly interested in any good betting races and fields, but I'm at zero interest in months of debate about whether any horse that wins the Belmont, Preakness, and Derby this year won a "real" Triple Crown. That I'm sure about.
