the fact that all his wins have come on dirt maybe? let's not play this nit pick game today.

and spare me the he ran well in the pac classic he's going up against a whole new level of competition and is going to need his A+ game to have a chance and he's not going to give his A plus on that surface.

plus he's never ran on tapeta in his life. he's run on polytrack but not tapeta so yeah he is untested.

Tapeta or Polytrack is nitpicking to me, no different than saying Fair Grounds dirt and Santa Anita dirt are different.

I never said "proven" meant he has won. He has a few performances on synthetics, so his form on them is proven in my eyes. It isn't as good as his dirt form, but I wouldn't say it is unproven.

Gladding looked good to me in the post parade. The price on Norvsky looks good to me as well. Having said the race is quite uninspiring.

So after a 1/4 mile, was anyone tearing up tickets on The Greek? Looked like he didnt grab the track, was pushed throughout and still won drawing away...okay the suicidal pace helped (two speed jocks on two early type horses, should have saw it coming eh).

gladding just doesn't want to run that far. he was ready to run and ran his race. just hit a wall

I mean I lost, but i take solace in the fact that i knew pedroza was going to find some way to blow it and sure enough in the stretch he just took any chance his horse had of even hitting the board out of under him.

And also doesn't Baffert look a genius now, avoided that suicidal pace with Game on Dude to face a softer early pace and much larger pot of gold.
