he Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 36% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -5. (see trends)

"Data from the Census Bureau on Wednesday showed that the number of employed people fell by more than four million last week, the fourth-straight weekly decline. Taken literally, the results indicate that the economy has given up all the job gains since mid-May, before the recent surge in coronavirus cases. Just under 52 percent of American adults were employed last week, according the survey, down from 54 percent in June."
In my opinion, most of the economic data (which I've often posted here) has been positive relative to very depressed expectations over the past couple of months. With recent flare ups in the virus, it looks like there has been a step back. Once the new-case count rolls back over (some early signs of that in TX and FL), I suspect we'll get job creation going in the right direction again.

I thought there was "Say Something Positive About Trump" thread, but I couldn't find it.
I strongly support Trump's move to close the Chinese consulate in Houston. Shortly after the announcement was made, Chinese personnel at the consulate started burning paperwork in the courtyard of the consulate, according to the WSJ and NYT. The State Dept indicated the Chinese were using the Houston consulate to spy and steal IP, among other things. Good move closing it.

ALL should be closed - the Chinese cannot be trusted on ANYTHING.

John Lewis did a lot of great things during his life and deserves all of the praise that he has gotton.
Lewis also did not attend the Bush or Trump inaugurations and voted along party lines to impeach Trump even though he new that Trump did not commit an impeachable offense.
