#WINNING is more than your little internet mind games you make up so you can say you won them. Here is a FACT for for - not $1 of any taxes raised by any of the desm will ever go to reducing the deficit.

First off... the discussion isn't about the Democrats it's about Trump and how he killed off fiscal conservatism.
Here's a perfect example of you being nothing short of a shill:
Tom supports balanced budget amendment:

Trump becomes president and balanced budget not nearly as important:

Fiscal conservatism is dead because of people like Tom who only complain when one party behaves irresponsibly but not their own.

Tom supports balanced budget amendment: Still do. But it is the job of CONGRESS to do it. And it is NOT the #1 thing. We now have pretty much full employment and tax relief, so looking at the deficit moves up the ladder - it will be a big deal for the second term.
Trump becomes president and balanced budget not nearly as important:
Trump balloons deficit and Tom talks about democrats. Dems are talking nonsense about socialism, stealing wealth, crippling the economy.....they ARE the #1 problem facing America. Dems are bad for everyone.
Fiscal conservatism is dead because of people like Tom who only complain when one party behaves irresponsibly but not their own. Nice try, but your simplistic view of things mark you as the lightweight around here Right now, the repubs/Trump are the ones acting responsibly, at home and around the world. The dems, as usual, never act in the interests of America. NEVER..

If we go by our Constitution it is not the duty of the President to balance the budget. Which is the laws that we go by in this republic. Congress controls all purse strings, pacifically, the House of Representatives. Once again TDS has invaded your sanity.
Term limits should be the rule with all politicians......not just with the President.

Fact is, when Bill Clinton was elected, the deficit was $4 Trillion....
In 26 years, the deficit rose $18 Trillion under Clinton, GW Bush, Obama and Trump....16 years of Dem POTUS and 10 of GOP POTUS....They're all responsible.

President Clinton was also the last president to sign a balanced budget. After a virtual 40 year reign of the House of Representatives for Democrats. The Republicans under the leadership of Newt Gingrich, Republicans won the House in 1994. A balanced budget, followed shortly afterward.
Term limits for all politicians is a necessity...... not just for presidents.

Do you have any point of reference prior Trump's inauguration, January 20, 2017??
You don't seem that you do but such expectations shouldn't be required of a child such as yourself, now would it?

If Trump doubles the debt in his 8 years (like 0bama did), the only way out of the is massive inflation (unless the government can continue to borrow money with very low interest).

You've said this before.
In terms of actual dollars Trump is on pace to add more to the debt than Obama.
You're "doubling" comment is just a red herring. If the debt was 1 dollar and I made it 2 I doubled the debt. If the debt was 3 but now its 5 I didn't "double" it but I added more.

Don't let them fool you, Ely...this "doubling" nonsense only applies when it suits our Trump-loving friends here. The Dow Jones more than doubled during Obama's presidential tenure...but this "doubling" never did poor Obama any good. President Trump still gets the lion's share of the credit for taking the stock market to new "record heights". So, as you can see...whether or not the "doubling" is better than the 'more overall' is strictly a matter of who happens to be at the helm at the time.
