Sport of Kings : Done Again?

Received an email last night explaining that the Sport of Kings are done after 3 years. The same gentlemen who brought us Public Handicapper have run out of funds once again. I said, take a chance and open a site similar to Horsetourneys.com but it seems that McKay and his company were very supportive of the site offering up credits on the format as well as the NHC offering up 2 seats for the finals every years. The Daily Racing Form was also helpful in offering up online PP's for the daily races etc. I enjoyed tackling it every day against many great players. Hopefully, they can get the funding required to do it again, contact "Brenda Stronach"

I'm sorry to see Sport of Kings shut down. I played their contests every single day. There were a lot of sharp handicappers on the site. I often found good-priced winners by checking Sport of Kings odds and playing a horse that had a high morning line price but much lower odds among the players. On a bright note, they intend to continue the weekly podcasts where they offer some great handicapping tips.

Still kind of shocked, seems these guys are and always looking for money to help run the site???????????? Public Handicapper lasted years, then they came back and I suggested going as a paid site. Pretty hard to compete with the Horsetourneys gets the run of the mill..
