Yeah, but it probably would've been about a $5 consolation payout- which might not even cover most players' bets.

They made the right call IMO.

What if you threw away you're losing tickets before the card was cancelled. Stooppers pick up ur tickets and get the refund. lovely
Live tickets should split the pool would be a better option to me.

I had first couple in pick 3 at Sam Houston, a late scratch to my choice in 3rd leg - my conso to the $15 and $11 first leg winners? refund

I couldn't even find the TX parimutual rules of racing online anywhere, so I just stopped betting there.
