Why is racing cancelled at Parx? Looking at the forecast, they are expecting 1-2 inches starting after 11am... No wind to speak of and not that cold. Is that usual? Aqueduct should be open I presume?

probably don't want to race. Of course the casino will be open (and morning training is schedule to occur).

Other tracks to keep an eye on for possible cancellations: Aqueduct; Woodbine (both breeds); Yonkers; Meadowlands; Saratoga Harness; Freehold and Charles Town.
I probably would expect to see Aqueduct and Freehold run while Yonkers and Meadowlands cancel as there cards are due when the worse is expected to start occuring. Woodbine is iffy because of the expected 4-6 inches of snow and the very cold temperatures expected but for the thoroughbreds its the final weekend. Don't know about Saratoga or Charles Town.

Beulah and Charles Town are also off for the day.
Aqueduct is racing, but will have abbreviated post times.

Not only canceled it and PEN, I couldn't find the download for either.
Should cancel the whole season from December until March. Happens every year.

Aqueduct has cancelled the card today- I imagine due to the surface, which took the effects of snow plus freezing rain overnight. The East View has been rescheduled for Saturday.
