Not only was I in the military, but I worked in the classified documents section at Eighth Army Depot Command/Eighth Army Rear in Taegu, Korea. So I know exactly how that works. Or I knew how it worked in 1967.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the situation we are in now. There were not five hundred people a day coming through the classified documents storage area. There was seldom anyone.

Not at all. Many of them identified themselves on social media. They thought they were being patriots and wanted to brag about it. Others were identified by neighbors and friends who were the actual patriots. And some were identified by fellow insurrectionists looking to make a deal.

Here’s another thing. That hallway in the West Wing had one or two cameras. There were dozens of news cameras at Jan. 6 and hundreds of cell phones.

It sure what you are referring to here. We did have house boys in the barracks. They took care of our uniforms, did our laundry, kept the squad bay clean and set up for inspections. One house boy took care of six to eight GIs. We paid $ a month and the Army paid $7 a month. Those were fantastic wages in South Korea at the time, when the average annual salary was under $50 per year. At that time there were no women employed at those jobs.

But, perhaps you are referring to something else. While prostitution was illegal in South Korea, nobody enforced the law. Some guys would hire a woman for the duration of their stay. For a monthly fee which was quite reasonable the woman would provide you with a place to stay, cook your food, do your laundry and share your bed.

Only a small percentage of the guys on base would do this, but it was no secret. In fact, one of the ladies who engaged in this trade also worked as a secretary on base.

military but so was I.

I seem to recall that whenever a security breach
occurred, the whole place would be on lockdown
and they doubled security until the incident was over.

Isn't it strange that a military base does that but
the White House doesn't?
