Disclosure : Repo Rocks was not on my Saturday late Pick-4 tickets (alive to Three Two Zone, Pirate Rick, and Drafted) and cost me the winning ticket.

Repo Rocks exploded in the Toboggan with Wolfsont up (no local jockey available?) by 8 1/2 lengths after running clearly inferior numbers at Parx previously. Yet, Saturday ran 1:10.2 and 1:23.2, two-plus seconds faster than any other 6f time during the day.

We can discuss graded stakes ratings until we drop; meanwhile, a Grade 3 $150,000 purse will be awarded to trainer Ness. Why is he not on suspension for the August 2022 positive at Parx for bufotenine?

Lest we forget, let's also give some attention to Glowsity in Race 5 shipping in from Laurel for Ness who won by 7 1/2 lengths with Wolfsont up, coming the last panel of a 7f contest in 13 flat.

The 6 mo SUSPENSION was handed down in August '22 and was originally going to run starting September 5, '22 to March 3, '23. It was appealed.

The POSITIVE leading to the suspension was Feb 23, 2022 - so we are coming up on a YEAR since the race in question, and still no resolution/suspension.

The wheels of horseracing justice turn EXTREMELY slowly in so many cases like this one. There are a number of suspensions hanging out there for a number of trainers, and it seems there always will be.

Parx's bad track announcer interviewing Ness to celebrate the win, who is appealing a 6 month long suspension, is peak horse racing in 2023.

Regardless of what you think of her racecalling skills in that new position, she has been wearing the host/paddock analyst hat for a much longer time in a number of places and has been a very enjoyable presence/interviewer in that role over the years.
