TVG Gate Loads
During the gate loads on TVG, would you rather hear the TVG talent, music or the track announcer?

The track announcer.
I have been on this for a while now as TVG cannot get this right, talking consistently thru the entire load and many times into the actual race.
There is zero they can add once the horses reach the gate but insist on attempting to time their last word to the opening of the gate.

Definitely the Track Announcer, Peter. Many times, the Track Announcer gives PERTINENT information about the antics of a Horse or Horses not yet in the Gate...while the Camera is focused on the Horses in the Gate.
In your case, Peter...many times you point out things a Horse may be doing while in the Gate that cannot be seen, even though the Camera is on it. Many thanks for that.

Gate Loading
Horse's do have feelings.
A horse has one sound to hear as soon as the gate pops.

The announcer. Annoys the crap out of me when they the TVG people talk over not only the load, but the start of the race.

Track announcer - and the rest of the time..MUZAK!
Elevator music is far preferable.
TVG announcers are non-essential employees.

Definitely the announcer because it makes sense to have the audio of the track rather than the TVG analyst blabbing on about the "best horse in the race" and that horse is the favourite

Reminds me of egotistical disk jockeys talking over the start of my favorite songs. Let's hear the track announcer.

If anything, the track announcer. Honestly, most of the races I watch are on mute. A few of the announcers I find annoying.

At times I've found the track announcer can provide valuable information about the gate load that I might have otherwise missed.
What annoys me are the analysts talking so long that they overlap with the start of the race.
