Maximum Security
looking good for horse of the year based his PP's and show of force in the Bold Ruler.
Go on, take your best shots; hoping this incredible tbred proves his ability in the Breeders Cup,and wins the Horse of the Year Award.
Big shout to Jason Servis for abilities as one of the top trainers in America.

He isn't running in the Breeder's Cup next week, and he isn't winning Horse of the Year.
However, he could win 3YO of the Year by winning his next race in either the G1 Clark or G1 Cigar if those fields fill solidly and COH does not finish in the Exacta of the BC Classic.

They should just give him the Breeders' Cup Classic title, because he could clearly beat this bunch. Kind of like how universities give out "Honorary Professor" titles.
Maximum Security: 2019 Breeder's Cup Classic Honorary Winner.

Maximum Security
OK, I was thinking mid November for the BC,my mistake.
Regardless, I will never relent on the DQ in the KY Derby,
Try owning and/or breeding horses , and understand the difficulty
in winning a race and moving up the conditions to actually run in the Derby.
Then get robbed, yes robbed , of winning that race.
The money won and the value of that win when breeding your sire
is a multi million dollar loss, aside from the loss of the purse.
But then again, if you lost your WINNING bet on MS, Churchill did offer you
a 10.00 refund...

I saw Lava Man leading horses this weekend.
I think HE has a better shot at HOY!

I've been reading your posts for a long time. I think you should consider both thinking AND relenting.

There'd be little argument.....
if it hadn't been for a piece of ill-advised
race riding on the first Saturday in May.
Maximum Security is the best 3 year old in 2019.
He should win the Eclipse award unless Code Of Honor
happens to win the BC Classic on a speed favoring track.
Doubt that will happen.

Pretty quiet around here
Horse wins the richest race in the world.
Where's the love?
Never been much of that around here for this horse.
In the meantime, Maximum Security keeps finding the winner's circle.
Unless, of course, he gets taken down due to pilot error when clearly best.

He made me eat my words.
Kudos to a horse with heart and ability to back it up.
Nice move getting by that moron on Mucho Drifting Man - cheap antics didn't stop the train. IF you like herdong so much, go raise sheep, you lacky.
I hope we are able to get times and figs for that race - I suspect they were moving up front the way the mare got up late.
I like one jock's comments in an earlier race - Sprint, maybe?
"Those Americans, they go fast. Wow!"
Nice purse distribution - 70% owner, 10% each to trainer, jockey, and stable help! Now that is nice - the little guys who do the work that makes it all possible. $2 million for the barn workers! Life changing probably.

Be interesting to see who goes to Dubai after this.
Pretty sure it's 4 weeks from today.
