When Matt and Mike Joyce are together, my ears BLEED.
I can feel the pressure in my head going up and my eyes push out.

I swear to GAWD my windows rattle.

I truly didn't realize that very many people listened to that shite. I mute it and go back to the PPs.

Just going to throw my two cents in.

Why do people care essentially what the "host" says? All they are there to do to set up the races and for the most part set things up for the real color analysts.

I have always found Ken to be a positive tv host who shows a great deal of love for the sport.

i get it, he is not an expert like we have on this board. I just dont think it means one thing or another. And certainly from a talent standpoint doing what he is supposed to do I always found him to be fine on TVG.

Gary Seibel was by far the best that TVG ever had on the air. His knowledge of harness racing and talent as a broadcaster is unequaled.

My problem is, you have stooges like Matt and Mike who ramble on endlessly about stuff having nothing to do with racing. They should get a room.

Ken is OK, at least he talks horses. Best is Simon, hands down.
He must have done something very terrible at one time to be saddled with TODD all the time....maybe he caught caught with the boss's wife?

Think it was the recent KEE meet where Hamilton and Gabby did the daily capping session for the track. Informative and concise w/o being condescending nor disparaging. THIS is what racing should be.

Big fan of Gabby and also Seibel(sp.). I also enjoyed Frank Lyon back in the day.

I like Ken. Good natured guy. He is upbeat, generally positive, and throws out some bad jokes once in a while.
Actually, I really like Ken. In fact, I met him in 2005 at Del Mar along with Todd Schrupp, Frank Lyons and Simon Bray. They couldn't have been nicer. Ken had no background in horse racing prior to his career at TVG. He gradually learned about the game and, in my opinion, never got enough credit for what he knows. He is one who left TVG of his own volition, and they are lucky to have him back.

How is that for a little love?

Which one was he? Was he the bald man with the speech impediment? If so, I agree, he was very knowledgeable.
