There is no reason at all that people cannot go out and vote. And those who don't want to risk it can apply for absentee ballots. Why should the honor system be used for mail-in ballots when such a system is never used for any other kind of official business in the public or private sector?

Pretty much so. My wife watched the election returns to the wee hours in the last election and Trump had the popular vote lead until California got counted. As of 2019, there were about 10 million illegals in that state alone.
