Maybe I'm wrong, it could have been the other panelist that bothered her.
I suspect she had a producer telling her in her ear to say something she was unwilling to say

I don't get Fox News anymore since we got rid of cable but I always thought Harris Faulkner was very sharp. Hopefully it was the cross talk causing confusion. I've never been a huge fan of Gingrich but I believe he is correct about Soros.

There's always one liberal, almost always one of which is a chalkboard scratching chick named Harp (I think). She'll lie with a straight face, oftentimes chided openly by Harris and Melissa Frances. To Harp , Biden is a sharp politician that doesn't miss a beat. It's tough to listen to at times. Same when Juan Williams or Donna Brazille is on
Marie Harf...the same snarky blond, who, when working under Obama, once said that all ISIS needs to turn them around are "jobs."

State Department spokeswoman floats jobs as answer to ISIS

Then, along came Donald Trump!

Ya gotta listen to this old video (2015)...

That was my take as well.

Imo, the following story on Breitbart does an accurate job of recounting what each of the panelists said --

Fox News Cuts Off Newt Gingrich After He Points Out George Soros Role in Electing Prosecutors:
https://www.breitbart.com/the-media/...g-prosecutors/

Quote:
Fox News cut off former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on Wednesday after he brought up the role of billionaire left-wing financier George Soros in funding the election of left-wing prosecutors in local races over the past several years.

Gingrich argued that the rise in crime in many Democrat-governed cities was partly the result of the election of left-wing district attorneys who had received financial assistance from George Soros.

But commentators Melissa Francis and Marie Harf attempted to silence Gingrich.

“Look, the number one problem in almost all these cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up,” Gingrich said. “Just yesterday they put somebody back on the streets who’s wanted for two different murders in New York City.”

He continued: “You cannot solve this problem — and both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly out what they call ‘progressive district attorneys’. Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money.

“And they’re a major cause of the violence we’re seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street,” Gingrich said.

“I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this,” Francis replied.

“He paid for it,” Gingrich, who was obviously taken aback by the interruption. “I mean, why can’t we discuss that fact that millions of dollars….”.

“No he didn’t,” Harf interjected. “I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.”

“Okay, so it’s verboten,” Gingrich said, using the German word for “forbidden.”

I live about an hour NW of Nashville, and I follow their local scene. Regarding that 34% property tax increase, it is outrageous. Over the last few years their city/county revenues increased by about 25%. But they overspent by over 35%. The city paid for the Nashville Sounds AAA club baseball stadium for about $90 million, which was $10 million over budget. Then taxpayers get hornswoggled into paying around $250 million for a soccer stadium. This is for a brand new team, with no track history. Ridiculous.

Even before the 34% tax increase, for which the bills will go out in October, their property taxes were skyrocketing. Here's what one BBQ restaurant said: "Carey Bringle, owner of Gulch restaurant Peg Leg Porker, said the tax increase would mean he would pay about $6,000 per month in property taxes, about $700 more than he paid for his mortgage each month when he bought his building in 2013." (Tennessean, 5/3/2020)

A couple of years ago his property taxes were $35,000.

The citizens collected enough signatures to put a measure on the ballot. It would restrict increases to 2% without voter approval. Anything above that would need a citizen vote. It also would require a vote for any non-school bonds above $15 million.

Mayor Cooper has gone ballistic. He says this will cut 550 fire & 400+ police positions. This is the politician's regular modus operandi. Instead of looking at your expenses and cutting from the lowest priority upwards, they always go right to public safety first.

The election commission & the city legal department are meeting in private today to try to derail the ballot measure. No matter the outcome lawsuits are coming.

Because Nashville's economy has become so dependent on the tourist industry it has collapsed. They said on the news the other night that Nashville is the slowest recovery for any big city economy in the country.

OK. So Nashville is back to normal in terms of public businesses (the ones that are left standing, anyway)?

Good to know.

Who, exactly, is being scammed again?

It’s an odd deal. The Mayor says the emails as reported are out of context. They turned over more emails that just confused the context. The news station agreed to pull the story until they sort it out,,
