I am confused, were they looking for an old boyfriend at that address and a new one did the shooting because he felt it was a home intrusion?

No, her boyfriend was the drug dealer, and when the cops came, he opened fire. This action resulted in the death of a innocent child.

Blame the cops for the actions of a criminal. These guys, the police, had no choice, it was made for them. Same thing that happened with George Floyd, and in Wisconsin.

Yup, So the old drug dealer boyfriend (Jamarcus Glover) is the one that should be faulted for her death. Because without him the cops would have never raided Taylor's apartment. But if you do that then you have no excuse for looting, rioting, arson or any of the other fun stuff. Kenneth Walker was Taylor's new boyfriend and the man that shot at the police.

When and if the officer charged with wanton endangerment goes to trial, here are a few facts that could come out.
1. Taylor had gunshot residue on her hand.
2. She was not currently employed as an EMT, having been relieved of her job for stealing narcotics.
3. She had phone conversations with her drug-dealing ex-boyfriend the day of her death. He was in jail and called her, and somewhat stupidly, didn't think his calls were being recorded.
It's horribly sad this young lady is dead. Like many other people in this world, she chose to associate with the wrong people over a period of several years, and that exponentially increased her chances of being involved in a bad situation.
But the mayor of Louisville, on his own, decided to make it all better by giving Taylor's family $12 million. I'm sure they will put that money to good use.
