So I'm betting a few races yesterday and at Hoosier in the 8th race I see the horse Er Sam has Don Eash as driver and trainer. But being the outside post, I thought 'not gonna happen'. But I can't pass up a measly $2WPS on him since I didn't like the 2 favorites in the race ( and odds on ) ( I wish we had the proper harness colors here).
Anyhoo, Er Sam is in the back up the pack up the backstretch and I remember cursing this angle of how stupid it is, lol. Just past the top of the stretch, Eash fans him out to the middle of the track and then kicks into high gear. Here comes my ! I thought how nice if my 12-1 shot wins here. He blows past the others and wins going away. But I heard the announcer yell "Er Sam is 32-1!". Wha wha what? 32-1? Nice!
$67.40 $23.20 $9.20
A cool $100 for a measly $2WPS. Love this angle. Thanks Coach.

Nice hit !!! - Here is a listing of the combos for HOP tonight. IMO, the dilemma is what to do with races having multiple D/T entries:
Included is also the driver/trainer having the same last name. For example Melanie & Peter Wrenn. (Although that may not be 100% accurate for common names like smith):
HTML Code:
Track Race Post Trainer Driver
HOP 1 6 Putnam, Joe Putnam, Joey
HOP 1 8 Tetrick, Tom T Tetrick, Trace
HOP 2 4 Wrenn, Melanie Wrenn, Peter
HOP 3 1 Eash, Don Eash, Don
HOP 3 6 De Long,Tabatha De Long, John

You can narrow them down by limiting your selections to:
Horses with M/L's higher than maybe 7-1 or 8-1.
Also, try to bet just the exact same driver and trainer. The horse seems to do better (in my personal observations) when the trainer is the driver. He knows the horse best.
And if you're betting live, instead of betting hours in advance, look for a selection that the betting drops lower than its M/L, then drifts upward near post time higher than its M/L. This means the horse is taking some money, but you're still getting an overlay.
See if that helps. Good luck.

Only 2 chalks with the HOP D/T combos on Friday night. IF there was any use in that it would have been in the horizontal wagers.
