Why not just have laws that people have to vote or be arrested.?Works wonders in Third World dictatorships.

I would think you would applaud such law. What better encouragement or motivation is there to get out the vote?
There just ain't no pleasing you guys, is there?

I say the same thing to the left.
Why not just have laws that people have to think just like the left, act just like the left, and live just like the left, or face arrest.
That's the only thing that would make the left finally happy. Outlaw conservatives, Republicans and anyone even slightly right of center.

1.When it comes to individuals exercising their rights (which includes the right NOT to do something), vs. the government taking them away, I usually come down on the side of the individual.I'm funny that way.Because as we all know, governments rarely make mistakes and usually respond to problems in a timely and efficient manner.Right?
2. If more left wing/liberals end up voting because of this law, then new laws will be made to reverse that trend.Because there's just no pleasing you guys, is there?
3.This has nothing to do with the topic but could we have a manicule emoji, you know like the pointing index finger you'd see on the "Wanted" posters in the old Westerns. Those are much cooler than bullet points for separating ideas on the written page.Just a suggestion.

Voter ID......PROVE you are eligible to vote.
And purge after two years.
If you can't be bothered to vote for two years, then re-register or don't vote.

Re-register what a unique idea....especially if you are still alive or have moved recently. In Ohio, they mail you a posted paid form letter to return in the mail....hard to do for some.

the left refuses to go along with anything that could alter their votes from dead/illegals, etc.

Hey, Spunky, first of all, you're misrepresenting the law. Before anyone's sacred name is removed from the rolls, the State contacts them first to give them ample time to respond.
Secondly, the law is essentially designed to remove grave dwellers' names from the rolls. You know...dead people. This is to help prohibit dishonest live people from assuming the identity of citizens of the grave in order to vote illegally.
Good law...I say...

WTF is wrong with liberals? I read the opinion of the liberal judge, how does this ruling impact minorities and low income people? I don't think dead people voting is as big a problem as illegals voting. It is so quick and easy to register in California I doubt the applications are vetted at all.

I wonder how the requirement of IDs for these "minorities" and "low income" people has impacted their welfare payments, food stamps and other entitlements from which they are benefiting? Someone should do a study on that and expose the utter stupidity of this argument.

I wonder how many states require voter I.D.? Here in Virginia you have to recite and spell your name and address while the poll worker holds your I.D. and looks at you. Back when I lived in Cali you pretty much pointed at your name on the voter rolls, no need for I.D. or even speaking.

Schumer is a drama queen with no ties to reality.
He brings nothing to the table.
When comes to dinner and brings a dish to pass, it is empty, and he takes it home filled up.
