Luxury car brand Porsche is facing criticism after the company released an advertisement celebrating 60 years of the Porsche 911 that apparently edited out the Cristo Rei – a statue of Jesus Christ that overlooks the city of Lisbon, Portugal.

Jesus is so offensive to the Marxists, sexual deviants, and satan worshippers that have the power on the left these days Porsche felt compelled to edit him out. That should tell you the kind of people that are running the world right now.

I thought you were against "holy" statues. Didn't you say that their creation was "idol worshipping"?

Porsche said a mistake was made. Was the mistake that Porsche ordered the statue digitally removed or did some employee do it on his own?

Yes, that's it Musty. A rogue employee did it on their own without anyone noticing.

I'm surprised mosty didn't flat out agree with the initial decision.
I figured he would say they were right lest they be accused of endorsing any one religion...
mosty, you missed your chance there...you're slipping

Since Porsche is a niche product, they will never reach the Level of Stupid that Bud Light and Target attained. But they're certainly allowed to try.

Only if they're actually worshiped. But as a work of art, that's another story.

I don't think you are understanding the issue here.
A segment of the population is so insane they'd find a background statue of Jesus in an advertisement about cars offensive even though it has nothing to do with the advertisement or religion. Porsche knew that. So they made a decision to edit it out. Normally they'd not only get away with bowing down to these devil worshippers and whack jobs on the left, many of these corporations are on the same team. But now, people on the right are fighting back with boycotts too (Anheuser Busch, Target etc..). So now, if a company gets involved in politics it doesn't only have to worry about boycotts from BLM, ANTIFA, Marxists, race baiters, lgbtqia+ and other people on the left, for the first time they have to worry about it coming from the other direction too. So now maybe they'll learn to just sell their products and services, shut the fuck up, and stay out of it.

Or maybe they were worried about crackpot Christo-fascists accusing them of trying to use Jesus to sell cars. Which is just as stupid as what you said.
By the way, I have quadrupled my purchase of Bud light since the boycott.
Which probably won’t make much difference, since I have never bought a beer of any kind in my entire lifetime.

Christ, he’s already had 2000 years. How long do second chances last?

Seriously?
You’re buying shit beer you’ll never drink just to prove a point?
For the right price I’ve got a six pack of Billy Beer for sale.
