I agree with what you are saying about what this Pope is trying to do. That's why I think this Pope is a fraudulent wolf in sheep's clothing. IMO, it's a monumental long term error to turn the church into a political party, especially a Marxist one. That's why a handful of Cardinals amd Bishops are stepping up the plate to trash him. God bless them.
I disagree on everything else.
I think a legitimate Pope would stick to the teachings of the Church on sin, make the case that the current decline of the west (including the US) is due to people abandoning objective morality in favor of moral relativism and sin, make the case that we can have a better world through Jesus, love, forgiveness and the other values He taught, and then let chips fall where they may.
If there is a God, the Satan worshiping globalists, Marxists, leftists and other vermin wouldn't win long term.
If there is no god, the Pope would still at least still be right about why we are declining and how man could reverse it.

I lived accross the street from a hospital years ago. Every Saturday morning at 7 am the anti abortion people would show up with bull horns. After a month of this I politely asked them to move up the street a bit. They told me they had every right to be there and too bad if It woke me.
