I get a kick out of reading this stuff

Kind of selfish of me, but from a racing standpoint, the virus has significantly impacted me in something I love to do in the warmer weather time frame and that is to make visits to new tracks and re-visit other favorites. I am glad though that many tracks are still going on despite not allowing fans, so I still have the opportunities to handicap daily and make some wagers.

I suspect I am not alone, but sometimes I just wish we could just fast forward 6-8 months or so and get back to as much of a previously normal life as possible. I recognize too that this journey requires each and every one of us to become active participants rather than observers, and at times will require us to leave our own personal comfort zones.

The current situations does, however, give us great opportunity to re-focus on the more important aspects of life, and to count the many blessings that we still have that often go underappreciated.

Exactly true, and furthermore, the extra $600 in unemployment is NOT going out this week 100% due to the dems refusal to support an extension.

So there.

Truth, so elusive for some.

How many of your posts do you think are fair and balanced? 50%? 60%? 80% 100%?

Since we're doing comparisons.

He never said he was fair and balanced, but early on YOU said you were middle of the road. Where did that person go because you are anything but neutral? Try to answer the question.

You guys just don't like anyone who doesn't like Trump.

Plenty of moderates do not like him, and will not vote for him. Some of those are people who have voted Republican all their lives, as a matter of fact.

Then again, there are moderate Dems who would, and probably already did, vote for Trump.

This forum is very skewed in terms of these *realities*.

I've rarely spoken out against any other republicans......if at all. Most of 'em can keep on keepin' on as far as I'm concerned. As mayors, governors, representatives in senate and house.

As a matter of fact, some will receive my vote. Trump won't.

You can label me however you wish. Its sort of water off a ducks back for me.

By the way, it was nice of you to answer a question I didn't ask you. I already know how you think. You're predictable.

Maybe the one that reduced govt bureaucracy.
Maybe the one that lowered unemployment to all time lows for everyone.
Maybe the one that revised NAFTA to be more America friendly.
Maybe the one that slashed taxes for the average citizen.
Maybe the one that asked Americans to be more self reliant.
Maybe the one that pushed back on China, NK, Iran and Russia.
Maybe the one that stopped unfettered access to the country by stopped illegals.
Maybe the one that softened prison terms, which mostly benefitted blacks.
Maybe the one that beefed up the military that had been hollowed.
Maybe the one that made people proud to be an American again.

Trump sucks!!

Coin shortage

Went to the local grocery store this evening, and they were not making change, had to have it uploaded onto my Courtesy Card. A whopping 12 cents.

When she opened the till, I was stunned. There was a shitload of change in the drawer. I didn't know what to say...

On my side of the bedroom I have a large pretzel keg (plastic) full of change that I normally take to my credit union like once a year. Prior to the virus I traveled light and just dumped change into the keg daily, now I don't leave the house without a small handful.
