Mountaineer WPS selections for Monday night
OK, so I am screwing around with this thing I like to call "bias," but my definition of bias is based upon what type of pace figures are winning NOW (or yesterday, as the case may be).
With that in mind, let me throw out some picks for tonight's Mountaineer card. All of these are top picks and will be tracked in the Win Place and Show pools....
Race 1: #1
Race 2: #6
Race 3: #6
Race 4: #5
Race 5: #6
Race 6: #7
Race 7: #1
Race 8: #2
Race 9: #5
Race 10: #2

Race 1:
1 LADY OF SPAIN 4.40 3.20 2.40
Not much to live on, but a winner is a winner, right?

Race 2:
Could have been a lot more profitable had the 6 not missed 2nd by a nostril...still, even though my horse finished 3rd, a profit was made:
6 Rain Drummer X X $6.40

Tiptop call, comes as second choice here though miss Colby Cheese in the Ex. Didn't see the race did the 6 show up as a presser? Bias is strong @ that distance of late.

mnr 4
would have gone with the 7 showing the last 7 go
wire to wire. but the 2 comes up with top TPR.
didn't see a 'bias' that calls out your selection even though
they seem beyond ultimate

Great call in the 3rd, PA! That was a strong play for me despite the rider. Hope you don't get caught up in the bias shift, speed is not holding anywhere tonight.
Using the 4 in 6th. 1-7-8 underneath
