Trump vs Pope
The Pope, in Mexico, shoots off his mouth and gets a good reply from Trump.
I would have told him to go to hell.
This jerk needs to keep his "pope's nose" out of American business.
What is he, the "steppen fetchit" for the Mexicans now?
How many refugees has HE taken in?
Has HE taken down HIS walls?
Perhaps his time would better spent attacking the shit hole that is Mexico for creating a cesspool of a nation where everyone is trying to get out. A thoroughly corrupt government, drug carters, squalor....this is Mexico. HE is there - where is his condemnation of real problems?
Trump handled it perfectly, IMHO......but far to softly.

if this pope don't like walls so much, he should look right at the front of his yard at the Vatican, that wall is about 40 feet high. the Vatican don't like to take people on their land, and they like to turn their backs when the master terrorist of all time, Adolph Hitler, and let him kill 6 million people.

Trump handled it well.
The Pope is an interesting guy though.
He says that it's okay to use contraceptives during the Zika crisis.
Previous Popes would have recommended abstinence instead.

The catholic church is a BIG business.
If Trump becomes president, he should start taxing religious entities as the business they are.

As far as I am concerned this Pope is not even actually Catholic. He's also doing a great job of shooting all that infallibility stuff to hell. Utterly clueless about the real world. It's a shame they don't have elections every 4 years for Pope.

He's conflicted! He's conflicted because he should keep his nose out of politics. Jesus did! So why can't these popes follow his lead!? These guys must be on a huge power trip -- leading hundreds of million Catholics plus trying to be a leader of the God-hating world.

What constitutes the God-hating world Box? Certainly not Mexico. Thanks in advance.

Boxcar,
He's suffering from the same kind of delusional thinking that many liberals suffer from.
People like that cannot separate the world they want to create from the world they actually live in. They are trying to make progress towards their ideals without understanding and comprehending that people that are wired differently will not behave the way they would. The result is that in trying to do good, they often create even worse results.
I see nothing wrong with him expressing his idealistic views on these issues in general terms from the Vatican, but if you are in Mexico you should not be talking about walls and illegal immigration when you are basically brain dead when it comes to the economic impacts and security risks associated with it that are competing with his goal of helping the needy.

He questions Trump's Christianity.
When in history has a pope criticized a public person's Christianity?
Hey, the Pope worked really close with some historical figures in the past - did he question Hitler's Christianity? Himmler's? Mussolini's?
This guy is a clown.
He makes it a legitimate question nowadays - IS the Pope Catholic?
(I don't car about the bear!)
When ISIS shows up at the Vatican, will MEXICO come to the rescue?

Love Trump's indignation. I seem to recall him saying the same about Ben Carson.
The Pope is telling American Catholics how to vote.
American Catholics haven't listened to Popes in decades.

All unbelievers, including the majority of professing Christians. There are two kinds of people in this world: There are those who march to the drum beat of the god who rules the kingdom of this world (2Cor 4:4) or those who trust and obey the Righteous Ruler of the Kingdom of God. Those in the former kingdom are enemies of God.

For the life of me I can't comprehend how this guy was voted into power unless there is some kind of left wing lobby among the cardinals that is trying to destroy the traditions of the religion. I'm not opposed to all change, but this guy is off the rails.

This is practically an endorsement for a Trump presidency as I see it.
