Hopefully come January we can start a new thread on President Trump and the things good or bad he actually does instead of the rhetoric from the campaign. Like I stated earlier, I'm optimistic. I'm hoping he pisses off both sides much like he did in the campaign. He said what he felt he had to say to get elected. Give the guy a chance. Or like Bill Maher said last night. Colorado passed assisted suicide and if you're truly that afraid. Move to Colorado roll up and nice big fat joint and rid yourself of a President Trump world.

He will no longer have any privacy.

Will he be able to take being blamed for everything that goes wrong in this country for the next 4-8 years?

Will his health suffer?. All men who held the office seemed to age dramatically during their 2nd term in office.

I'm sure that it seemed to him to be a great idea 18 months ago, but how will he feel about it after the next 18 months?

I clicked on an article about the episode and wound up watching most of it. He was buggin' but he had some pretty astute lines compared to most among the dejected in that genre of pseudo-pundit. I can't even remember the context but he made a joking comment about women and one of his women guests kind of gave him a bit of the business about the comment and he lashed out that it was an example of why they lost the election. "If I say transgender instead of transsexual I'm charged with a ****ing hate crime..." (or some such thing but more or less) and there's a big swath that is just tired of being marginalized to death for not getting daily updates on what is socially permissible to say from day-to-day. I think that he really is one of the few that is self aware enough to be a big bitch about the results but point the finger largely at the failings of his own preferred party and ideology rather than point fingers everywhere else and go simply with the whole whitelash theory. Not a big fan of the guy in general but thought he was amazingly the voice of reason throughout his own show when he was discussing the election with his panel and others.
