Yeah there are a million different angles. One is probably the justification for how it went down today but it was all kinda odd.

I can't figure out why they did it the way they did and it irks me.
Best guess is Team Trump thought it would be good optics having a woman getting all that praise in a very public way. It also helps Team Haley if she decides to run against him, or anyone else, to use as a shield from personal attacks.
But thwe're are other theories that make sense as well.

She sure is getting a lot of favorable press on places like CNN.com...
Even the pictures they show of her are flattering...lmao
They also don't fail to mention that even as a "Trumpette" she gets positive public approval ratings from both Reps and Dems...
Things that make you go hmmmmmm

Oh, but she is...she praised him...he praised her...she's part of his administration...to any hard core Trump hater, she's seen as a Trumpette...and yet...they like her for some reason (on the whole).

Or...
Because she isn't a Trumpette.
Foreign policy wise she is a neocon/traditionalist hawk... Trump is... <checks boggle board>.
Domestically she is a Reagan/Libertarian wing Republican. Trump is... well you hate that term... a interventionist nationalist.

Whatever you say pal.
To the run of the mill anti-Trumper, she's a Trumpette.
To a wonk like you, maybe not.

Pretty sure no one here was consulted on it, so pretty sure no one here has a clue as to why.
But pretending we know everything is a good way to pass the day.
Why, not important.
When, who knows.
Who...someone.
It's a process.
It plays out.
No matter what we say about it.
MY take is the deck is being reshuffled to put people in the jobs they can do the most in.
You can my take on the double at Belmont today, too.
$5.00 for that one.
