Thanks. I was coached to be a tall-fall guy (probably because I was tall. College teammates called me the 'big unit'... wish i had his 95+ fastball to go w/ height). Was always looking for more leg power. You're correct with the tall fall actually being a Ryan thing. I remember trying to imitate the delivery and being impressed with the leg flexibility, range-of-motion, and strength in just stuff like the leg lift, and the stride.

Seaver polled 98.8% of the Hall of Fame votes. Amazing pitcher.

Easily one of the top five pitchers in my lifetime.

Easily one of the top five like able on air baseball personalities of all time.

Good guy, I feel bad for his struggles. He deserves better.

I became a baseball junkie with the Pirate/Oriole World Series of 1971. Without doubt, Seaver was one of the premier pitchers since that time. Rjohnson, GMaddux, PMartinez, a few others, and Seaver sits amongst them very snugly.
