Have to wonder if this is face saving by either ESPN or whitten. He was pretty bad at tv work, it was best he didn't return even tho the narrative blew otherwise. Booger deserves to be the #2 guy. Firing him might have been embarrassing for ESPN given he was clearly unqualified to begin with

I'd be surprised if he makes the roster, but legit football people here like Drew Pearson are openly applauding his return saying the cow dogs need him to seal the edge for Zeke. That was missing last season.

The entire Monday night team never developed any mojo, it seemed to me; they got promoted into it before any of them were ready. Putting Booger out by himself on the sideline struck me as kind of insulting.

It used to be one of the prime announcing gigs out there. For a while now, though, it's been like, "Who's available?"
