Have to wonder if this is face saving by either ESPN or whitten. He was pretty bad at tv work, it was best he didn't return even tho the narrative blew otherwise. Booger deserves to be the #2 guy. Firing him might have been embarrassing for ESPN given he was clearly unqualified to begin with
I'd be surprised if he makes the roster, but legit football people here like Drew Pearson are openly applauding his return saying the cow dogs need him to seal the edge for Zeke. That was missing last season.
