Hey, I have a question...the prefered parking right across the street from the tack entrance, - right next to the barns - how do you get tickets to park there?

I used to just pay the extra bucks and park there, but last year, they told me I needed a ticket to park there. Anyone know how you get them?

A perfect place to park, get here early, listen to to Byk on the radio, have a sandwich and a couple of cold ones while scanning the Form....head over at my leisure.

(Ah, the good old days, I would park on the other side of the Oklahoma Track and run all the way to the gates, even take a victory lap around the track to get in the mood.)

you can go backside over by the 6 furlong starting gate. there is a hot dog stand there and windows open to make wagers.

you can sit in your car or bring some beach chairs and hang out there all day and catch the rays.

i used to hang out at the shoeshine stand in front of the racing office, but every one i knew there is no longer here.

Tom, so far one of America's best- 'The Cheesecake Factory' is getting the nod! Will confirm later.

BTW, we pay either $10/15 to park right across the street from the main entrance, cheek to jowl beside that little bar and T-shirt place. Works for us, when leaving!

That's were I parked it last year.....the lot, not the bar!
The one I wanted was right across the intersection on the grounds.
