Sure.

The had changed hands before his last race and made a bold middle move. Last nights race had a lot of horses who can’t get the distance if hooked to a U-Haul, including the who was the favorite and coming from connections that I never ever ever play. The second pick, the comes from a good barn but just broke his maiden and was stretching out. Another toss.

I played the horses who I felt could finish. The wasn’t my top pick but that’s the beauty of the pick 4, you do better when your second or third pick wins.

I never ever use speed figures. I never use final time. I will use 1/4 and 1/2 mile times to determine the race shape. Basically it comes down to the horses competition previously and how I visualize the race unfolding. I prefer to have a race where I can toss the favorite and spread out over a race where I like one horse. Usually the races where I like one horse pay less.

Thank you! It was a surreal feeling knowing the payoff ahead of time and seeing the make the lead, then draw off, then fight to hold on...

The Derby Super I hit was less of that because it was hard to pay attention to who was going to be 4th plus you don’t know the payoff for a super ahead of time.

And FYI a lot of people play a hell of a lot more than $60. Guess that’s why your name is Zippy Chippy.

I hope he's being sarcastic. The object of the bet is to pick 4 winners, good job.

Thank you Roses, but I somehow doubt that he is.

I actually did see the selections last night after I got home and noticed you used them all...

I’m sure zippy would’ve obsessed and singled one of the last two chalks and got knocked out

never mind these other nuts, i would love to see you cash about 10 more just like this one even though i can't remember hitting a ticket like yours my entire life.

for what its worth, i played the last race and had the favorite that almost blew 3rd to show and knew ahead of time he was a bit vulnerable. i shouldn't have played show either, but did to get the $150 back that i was losing all day.

Well what I do know is... this is the sole winning ticket.

Well done!!

Don't sweat what anyone thinks or says about you! That's just egoic crap. Do your best, do what's right, treat others as you want to be treated, and you will never concern yourself with others. As Terry Cole-WHattaker wrote, "What you think of me is none of my business." (Great book, by the way.)

Also, thanks for letting us (me) know how made your decisions. Great stuff. Best to you!

GREAT JOB...but I wonder:

Did you feel even a bit apprehensive when seeing that the ticket you constructed was of the "caveman" variety...instead of the "layered" sort of ticket that the exotics-betting 'experts' recommend for wagers of this type?

If I had made $43,000 in less than 3 weeks...I would surely be able to find something more constructive to do than to argue with ZippyChippy.
