What needs to happen is Rosenstein has to be recalled before the House intelligence committee to explain why he signed off on a FISA warrant application based on an unsubstantiated political opposition research. Also, why he hired Mueller to investigate a legitimate firing of Comey. After he testifies under oath, depending what he states, he either needs to resign, be fired or severely limit Mueller's boundaries for the Russian interference investigation.

Details...

They also have to be presented with new evidence to keep extending them. Which happened in this case not once, twice, but three times.

Also... on a personal level Carter Page seems like a piece of shit and I'm glad we've been spying on him.

Maybe because he did nothing in 3 years to warrant any action?
If he was on the radar, why was nothing ever done?

The guy was getting FISA warrants going back years before Trumps run.

Sorry, but I'm glad our National Security apparatus keeps tabs on people who have high levels of contact with foreign powers. Especially those the KGB have tried to turn against us...

Glad you don't care about national security. That we shouldn't monitor possible counterintelligence agents. You sound like a hate America lib defending this guy and the fact we spied on him.

Russia's our friend right?

Could be a multitude of reasons. We don't know because this shit is supposed to be kept classified... until Trump.

National security does not trump individual Constitutional rights in peace time without a state of emergency.

An American Citizen, whether he is likable or not, is entitled to Constitutional rights.

Congress has the duty to oversee our intelligence agencies. The intelligence agencies have no right to keep information from Congress. We have the right to know, this is a government of the people and for the people via our elected representatives, not by bureaucrats who think they know what is good for the country.

If the FBI was interested in national security they should have had Strzock and his paramour under surveillance. Strzok being a spy hunter and Page, an attorney at DOJ, were vulnerable to being recruited (blackmailed) by foreign powers, due to their illicit affair.

Good stuff, ShowMe! Man...you've got the kernel of a great script for a blockbuster movie.
