Bigger Event this Weeekend: PGA Championship or Preakness?
Which is the bigger event this weekend?
The PGA Championship featuring nearly the entire top 100 golfers in the world playing at Bethpage Black in Farmington, NY with Tiger Woods and Brooks Koepka?
Or the Preakness Stakes without the Top 3 finishers of the Kentucky Derby nor the horse that crossed the finish line first?

John Daly is claiming foul because someone cut off his golf cart.

Do you mean which do we personally view as a bigger event, or which we think the public at large will consider the bigger event?

You have to vote your personal opinion to make it legit, amirite?
Either way, why wouldn't you vote what you believe to be the better?

The Preakness is more important to me, but to the public at large I'm thinking more people are interested in the PGA championship. And that's regardless of whether the Derby winner is in Baltimore or not.

If the early returns hols and it means our personal preferences as opposed to the general public, it's incredible that on a racing board more people think golf is bigger. I wonder if this is some kind of protest by those that have a beef against the Churchill stewards and taking it out against an unrelated event. If so, really petty and off the mark. It's not like there is one ruling body over the whole Triple Crown.
I think we need a clarification as to what's meant by "biggest". Biggest to who? Racing fans? Golf fans? Or general public?

The PGA moved it's event this year from August to May without even a hesitation to think about the Preakness being on the same weekend.

How many people even KNOW that the Preakness is this weekend?

I am going to guess that the word "Preakness" was never uttered in any of the conversations about moving the event.
