Got it, wasn't sure what the rules were, thanks for clarifying. I'm not connected from a business perspective, but I am friends with them, and was on the beta from the beginning.
So here's my 30K foot view.
The only unique things about the PP's are that they have their own speed figs, and they show the Plot of their prior races. Any time you have something unique, that's also not widely distributed, I think that's a good thing though.
In my opinion, all pp's based on the same information(good or bad), have the same validity. I like Timeform specifically because they aren't afraid to adjust figs or to show when they're not confident in them. Were there a set of pp's based on information that didn't come from Equibase, I'd be their first customer.
The biggest value I get from OptixEQ is the trip notes. Hard to explain in detail, but basically they use standardized terminology across all of the tracks they cover, and I find it easy to understand no matter who took the note. Gives me a quick glimpse into the past performances without watching a bunch of video. Biggest help is when their notes contradict the official chart caller notes, especially with favorites.
