over the last 20 or so races, more often than not, my 2nd choice won, giving me interest to tabulate the 2nd choice results, both for this thread and a separate data base of mine

here are a few numbers I have worked out for the top pick.
the flat bet return factor is 2 x the win %
so if the win % is 50% I would expect an return factor of 1.10, or 10% profit
