Psssst....PaceAdvantage.com turns 19yo today.

Born July 27, 1999, in a dimly lit apartment, in the wee hours of the morning, the switch was flipped and the rest, as they say, is history.

Tom put this up the other day, but in case you've never seen it, here's how it looked back in 1999:

https://web.archive.org/web/19991013...antage.com:80/

Not much better today, right?

And here's what the message board looked like in its first incarnation:

https://web.archive.org/web/20000310.../UltraBoard.pl

You can click on the links and see some of the topics, and even read some of the posts. Although I'm not certain if that will work for all threads or even most of them, but I just did pull up a thread from March of 2000.

Anyway, I just want to say, once again, THANK YOU to each and every one of you over the years that have made this place the king of horse racing message boards. Without ALL OF YOU, this place would not still be here.

You all are GREAT!

With much peace and love.

I'm happy for you because you have put your absolute soul into this board for all of these 19 years.

You have a year of planning. A whole year to plan the biggest gathering ever to celebrate the TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY. So, start thinking.

Thank you for all that you do. You are just the best!

There have sure been some unforgettable characters over the years, that's probably what makes this such a great place to be, and obviously the longest running horse forum of all time

Thank you and Happy Anniversary

Thanks for all of the hard work. I have enjoyed the 13 years that I have been here and I have learned a lot. What a cast of characters has passed through these virtual portals.

I stopped following the racegame seriously years ago...but I still visit the PA site daily. It really is the BEST. By large, large margins.

Happy Birthday!
