PA VIP Election Pledge Drive
Subject to PA approving this, based on an 8/5 line (which I believe is fair odds man-to-man) as a Trump backer, I will pledge to donate $5 to PA if Biden wins for every $8 donation pledged by a Biden backer if Trump wins, capped at $250 for my total pledge commitment. Other Trump backers are welcome to come along and take a piece of the action off me.
Let's hear from all of you supposed smart-money Biden backers . . . C'mon Man!!!

Thanks Jimmy, and I apologize, I should have given you proper credit in my thread starter since the concept of donations based on the election outcome was your idea.
So that's two Trump backers . . . waiting for you Biden backers to join in on this worthy cause that's win-win for the PA community

They're saving their money on here to make a $1 Tri-wheel at Belmont

Fair odds would be even money.
If Trump does not win Florida he will demand a recount. If he does not win the recount he will sue. The Trump packed SCOTUS will decide in his favor. Once Trump has Florida the odds are even money for the rest of the Electoral College.
But then, the polls are wrong! Right!

You mean all the razor-sharp bookies didn't factor all this, and other contingencies, in to their meticulously crafted odds line? Or is this just your way of copping out because at the end of the day, your confidence level regarding the outcome is on life support?

My confidence level has always been about 50-50. IMHO Trump would have it locked up were it not for the pandemic. The pandemic is central to Biden's campaign. Just sayin'
I take it you did not sense any humor in my post #7?

Don't you love how all the Biden backers love to tout the polls and the betting markets showing their guy as a HUGE favorite, but then once they are challenged to put their money where their mouths are, suddenly it's an even money proposition . . . and this from people who supposedly understand and participate in odds-based handicapping and wagering . . . bunch of posers, won't even pony up to support PA

Your bias is showing... Trump did not nor is "Packing the Court"
He WE started with 9 Justices on The Court and his administration when it ends will still have that amount seated.

The reason I say that...when the next judge is appointed, before Trump even is voted back into office or defeated, he will, in effect, have 'packed' the courts with 3 conservative-leaning Supreme Court Judges. Thereby, thoughts on the actual results of what has transpired is tantamount to 'packing' the S. Court. This is the stuff that pulls us all further, and further, apart. So, packing is a relative term and yes, he, Trump, has endeavored to pack the court. It would be reasonable to assume that the next administration would rebalance the courts, following your line of reasoning. A further incentive to strike back, as it were? My own opinion means little of course. Fact is however, this is the road to nowhere. One must recall that a similar effort to add a judge was rebuffed by a Republican-let Senate, before the Democrats relinquished the White House.
