The dems did not show up today.
She was nominated 12-0.

That is OK, it the full senate vote where 1 or 2 men of honor can stop her. Or rather, stop the POS Mitch. We can STILL put her on the bench AFTER the election, AFTER the relief bill.

I have no doubt the GOP is going to lose the Senate and House, even with a Trump win. So it doesn't matter

Hopefully, this will destroy the GOP forever and clear the way for a party of honorable Americans to rise from the ashes. If not, then we still have the hope of COVID-19 spreading like wildfire throughout the entire congress.

Blumenthal just drooling today in the Senate trying to delay the vote. Not going to happen, Monday is a beautiful day.

The skinny has it that Murkowski will vote for Amy. If this is true, she must be taking a lot of heat from her constituents, although this ol' RINO airhead does have a track record of intransigence.

Murkowski is basically from Ketchikan. She was my wife's babysitter. My wife said she was not a nice person. Her father was very close with my wife's family. Big hunter outdoorsman. Just from the people I have talked to they want her out. Small world.

I’ve always hated her

It appears that my source was right and that Murkowski will vote for Amy.

Murkowski to Vote to Confirm Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court

Miraculously, the senator appears to have found some principles. Either that, but once recognizing that Romney wasn't onboard with her and Collins, she indeed had "lost that procedural fight", and there was no political upside to buck the tide.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said on Saturday that she intends to vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court despite her objections to the process of taking up the nomination weeks before the election.

Murkowski previously indicated that she wouldn’t support filling a Supreme Court vacancy before the election due to its proximity to Nov. 3 and a precedent that Republicans established in 2016 when considering President Barrack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.

She said during a speech on the Senate floor during a rare Saturday session that while she still opposes the process, she does not hold it against Barrett, who she said “navigated the gauntlet with grace, skill, and humility,” during her confirmation hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“Frankly, I’ve lost that procedural fight,” she said, adding that she would judge the nominee based on her merits, qualification, and judicial philosophy.

Come on Tom... retroactive payments to illegal border jumpers. Bailing out piss poorly run liberal shit holes... that only cared about self power by buying votes with unsustainable pension plans for overpaid union worker. And what the hells does voting regulations have to with pandemic relief. The phucking leftist House headed by that hag Nancy is playing games with people's life. Don't blame Mitch for not bending over and taking it up the ass cause Nancy and Chuck are POS. Mitch passed a shinny bill without all the BLUE State pork... just help for American's. House shot it down... recall that?
My business has taken a massive hit... down 90+% from last yr... no bailout help... grant money here controlled by the left and they used the Biden plan... family and friends first. I will survive one way or another always have. But I'll be damned if the libs pack the court. So I'll take ACB... as a win. And vote for every R that I can.

ACB will be a huge win. And if the libs ever decide to "pack the court", they'll be following their comrades in Argentina because that what the dictator did there.
