Oh yeah,the third-world level old gris without any central control is 110% reliable and the only danger is government meddling for political reasons..

We have already seen major outages in te NE in recent decades, but that all fixed.

The grid is a major achilles heel for us. It can take us from world power tohelpless overnight. And the 5% of that infrastructure bill has not been used for fix 1 so far.

Hopefully this BS dies out soon. I always assumed the transformers that are getting destroyed are common standard items. I have a customer who has power company connections that said they are not. He said the voltages coming in those substations and going out are all over the place. The transformers hanging on the poles in the street and the green boxes in front of your house are a dime a dozen, which I thought, the ones in the sub stations are not.
