Projected odds off the DD probables matrix from race 11:
1) 2-1
2) 3-1
3) 12-1
4) 4-1
5) 7-1
6) 8-1
7) 6-1
Good luck all. I'm ok with 2-1 here.

DRFBets projects just a little less for Forte (9-5) and more for Arcangelo (7-2). That's a good price for .
Scotland is taking some money, but morning line is otherwise pretty tight.

Took a longer look at Disarm and I just don't feel he's of this ilk.
I'll let the Derby winner beat me, and will tip my cap to him if he does.
Forte obviously merits respect, but a 1-2 exacta won't get me much.

When all the betting came in Arcangelo ended up being the overlay in the exacta pool. Congratulations to everyone that cashed.

I said it before and I will say it again. The owner needs to change trainers on Mage or he is never going to win another race. He will be lucky to win a claiming race in six months. If you are not going to make the switch then retire him now. Anyone who uses the Haskell as a prep shouldn't be training horses. Delgado said Mage was doing great and then he runs a clunker. I am impressed with Arcangelo, clearly the best three year old right now.

Congrats to those that had Disarm.
Had the winner, but my verticals were ugly. Disarm ran lights out, and maybe should have won.
Will be interesting to see who tries the BC Classic in this bunch.

Shouldn’t be training ? Baffert has used the Haskell as a prep . That doesn’t make sense. The Derby is becoming a race that’s too early for these horses. Some years a mediocre horse wins . The other factor is some these horses inherit a pace melt down , perfect trip that rarely happens after the derby. I didn’t hit that exacta but Mage was a toss for me . That was actually his third sort of dull effort in a row . He’s not as good , I don’t care who trains him . He closed great once after a furious pace duel but he’s no Zenyatta. He’s not the only Derby winner to struggle come mid summer. There’s sort of a trend there now. Some of these outfits are perfectly content not gearing up for the Derby . Really good horses that are not ready . This horse that won yesterday is a late developer just like his father. I doubt Mage can ever beat him. Hes a fast cruiser with a punch .

Tapit Trice wound up running well in the Travers. He was off slowly (as is often the case) and I also thought he was used a bit too aggressively too soon to get position while between 3 and 4 wide on both the turns. He ultimately lasted better than Scotland and National Treasure. He's a notch below the best 3yos. He'll need a very favorable setup to win against them. I would probably look for a softer spot and try to get a win into him while continuing to work on his gate and other issues.
