My most sincere and heartfelt thank you to all veterans for all they have done and continue to do regardless of their military status. Once a Marine, always a Marine, and, so to all branches of the service including the United States Merchant Marines.
My wish for the current administration and the new Vet Affairs chief is to fix the mess that exists at the present time. A promise was made -- it damn well better be delivered -- now.

We all owe veterans for the freedoms and rights that we have today.
Thank you Vets.

This is a "SALUTE" for those who served, and for those of my Buddies that didn't make it home, and especially for those who still bear the scars and mental debilitations....
War "sucks", it is Insanity and Man at his worst..
Freedom isn't free...So again, thanks for those who stood up for it...
And, many thanks for the thanks...

NYRA posted a photo in appreciation of all veterans on their Face Book page. Scroll down, its the third photo. It is stunning, incredibly so. (I don't know how to embed it here, but it may well touch you all as it did me).

Thanks for your service. I was at Starbucks with my son and his girl friend today and it was nice to see that Starbucks gave veterans free drinks. I met a nice young Latino woman who served 4 years including time in Irac and Kuwait. She said it was a great experience. She comes from a military family.
