Cool Prince of Wales S. (leg-2, CanTrplCrwn)

Tonight, Fort Erie Race 8
ONE BAD BOY 7/5 - game speed, could get loose
AVIE'S FLATTER 5/2 - classy filly , fits
TONE BROKE 5/1 - physical marvel, improving
HE'S A MACHO MAN 8/1 - solid animal
SKYWIRE 3/1 - trip handicapping

Briswatch: (scroll down to Tuesday)

http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/brisw...9/summary.html

5 horse field
Some cool horses/opinions

Kassa's Korner:

Give me the SKYWIRE 7/2<->9/2 range... may not get those odds.
I think this is his 'coming out party'. May be a solid OC/Stakes type dirt router.

The main danger is the ONE BAD BOY who has some game efforts on the front end and should be loose here... Prat is back to win this. Hoping he doesn't completely control all the tactics of the race.

TONE BROKE is a cool prospect.
Jaw-dropping physical specimen for an Ontario-bred. Asmussen realizes that he has a nice animal that may be a solid classic-distance runner. The progress is there to see on paper. Ran a solid race in the Queen's Plate.
Was cool to see Pin Oak Stud send me a text on FB this morning. I sent them something about his physicality after the parade in the QP.

Figs(Bris) were slow for all in the Queen's Plate, but I think they came back a little low.
TimeformUS did a better job. Featured as a 'FREE' race today, all you have to do is sign up or sign in.

First time in a while that the Bris looks really off to what it appeared visually. Trust the timeformus for sure

I bet Skywire in the QP for the win and would still like iver One Bad Boy.

Hes a Macho Man probably would have been third in the QP but also had a tough trip.

Yea, the figs are a little strange.

Not sure why I keep calling Avie's Flatter a 'filly'...

Doubles say the is a heavy chalk and all very close in odds.
This means Tone Broke a bit 'live' on the board, and Avies Flatter a bit 'cold'... but nothing crazy in the tote...

I usually dislike 5 horse fields but I like it in this scenario where they are all meeting again and should be able to run their race without a 14 horse field.

Pace Scenario strongly favors the

now if this were in New York, the uncoupled entry-mate Macho would be sent to hassle the . Could possibly happen... May not...

the track does not exactly look sealed and conveyor-like... this could help

I'm just hoping the doesn't jog on the front in an easy race.

Let's see a horse race

Connections quoted in bloodhorse saying they didn’t think the will be as good on dirt. Tossing because of that. Prolly stupid but oh well.

should rebound off that last race and run big today. Avies Flatter no joke.

// $5 tri.

Fun race, the 1 definitely had to push harder out of the gate than the QP, think that made a difference.

Skywire really didnt show much so wondering if maybe needs a rest or different spot....

yup, have to check whether he broke slowly... looked like Castellano didn't give him an easy time after the break either... Surprised the contended after that start..

seemed to struggle on the dirt route rather than thrive

Tone Broke had to work for it, but he got the job done.

Really nice big colt for an Ontario-bred. Congrats to Pin Oak Stud on that one.
