Could be some rough weather tonight. This looks like a good play to me.

I think the weather is already factored into the number. The total has already been bet down. I just believe that Denver is morphing into a different team this year. Their D is very strong and Peyton has not looked sharp at all. Kubiak tends to prefer a run first offense. I thought KC's 27 points last week was a little misleading. A couple Texan turnovers set up very short drives.

Broncos +3 @ Chiefs
The public thinks Manning's arm is 'done'.
He still has his mind and his character. This guy is a champion quarterback. There are a lot of things that it takes to become a champion that go beyond the throws that you can make, and there are a lot of guys who can make more throws and they will never be champions. And he hears the whispers.
(2-2 YTD)

I think its more than whispers. Some of those passes were dead ducks last night. He should of been picked more times than he was. Of course, KC could not hold on to the ball either....both of those teams looked pretty bad last night, what a sloppy game.

I thought both defenses looked solid last night and they looked quick, but of course these fast defenses tend to slow down as the game goes on. Denver did a good job of hanging in there long enough and then took advantage as the Chiefs defense got slower in the 4th quarter.

Jury is still out.
That was a wacky game.
KC dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage. Denver's offensive line faltered badly and could not support a running game.
Both teams were rushing the passer very well.
I think it took a while for Manning to 'wake up' and take control. They got some lucky breaks in terms of the outcome of the game, but Manning was able to capitalize at the end of both halfs. He made some nice adjustments under pressure from the blitz and he made some smart plays for the most part.
Right now Denver's bigger issue is their offensive line.

line movement question
no pick yet for this game, but I am looking at
Miami vs. Jacksonville
EVERYONE is picking Miami (i am seeing 89% vs. 11%), and I wouldn't be surprised if the local fan money in Florida is also a lot heavier on Miami.
Yet, I am seeing line movement as opening -6MIA --> current -5.5MIA, essentially making a bet on Miami even more attractive by a half a point.
Such line movement would be counter-intuitive, and indicate that bookmakers wanted the public to continue to take the Miami Dolphins side.
I'm not privy to truly accurate information on line movement (this is simply from a website that has offered inaccurate/incomplete info in the past), so maybe someone here can enlighten.
If I did know the line movement was accurate, I would want to be taking Jacksonville and the 5.5pts for sure.
