'Villians' in sports

Cowherd talking about how Lebron used to be a villain and now he's not, he says the nba needs a villain. He said NFL has villains Belichick, Brady, Sherman, Hardy, etc.

Rivalries and villians get people to the TV. Conflict gets ratings.

Ratings much higher when Lebron was in Miami.

Who are some of sports histories greatest villians.

John Rocker comes to mind.

A lot of people consider Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin (and the Clippers in general) villains.

John McEnroe
Howard Cosell (not an athlete, but played the villian at times)
Pete Rose (if he wasn't on your team, you hated him - see All Star game and spikes first in 1973 playoffs against Mets)

I could totally see CP3 and Blake and of course Deandre (ESP in Dallas) villians. I didnt realize RW was viewed that way.

It'll be 32 years this March, but I still hate the Georgetown Hoyas.

Randall is spot on, though...Bobby Knight can go to hell.

You totally nailed it with Bill, he was a sick man in a good and a bad way.
