This is getting ridiculous since who and what is the Special Counsel after all?
I'll tell you who they are, and you probably won't like it.

Like everything else in this saga, it's anyone's guess how this particular part of it pans out. The way in which the Special Counsel's Office worded the press release is especially interesting:
"BuzzFeed's description of specific statements to the Special Counsel's Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's Congressional testimony are not accurate."
Talk about legalese.
What, exactly is the SCO disputing?
I don't think this statement puts Doofus Drumph in the clear by any stretch of the imagination.
I would go so far as to say that the substance of the Buzzfeed report is correct, but the corroboration by the Buzzfeed reporters was a little sloppy.
The SCO just didn't want to be part of this.
Time will tell.
It's a good thing I'm completely unbiased about this whole issue.

Tonight on Hannity, Attorney Joe Digenova, a 30+ year friend of attorney general nominee William Barr, said that he is confident that Barr is the reason that Mueller ultimately decided to release a statement declaring inaccurate reporting by Buzzfeed.
According to Digenova, he has known Barr to be a man/attorney of impeccable integrity, and that if Barr becomes the next attorney general (likely), and if he were to ask Mueller about the validity of the Buzzfeed report, and if Mueller were to tell him that it was false without having had released a statement debunking what was reported, he would have fired him.
Mueller must know Barr very well; after all, they have been friends for many years, too!
Digenova said, to paraphrase, Barr is set be the new sheriff in town, and that he is just what this country needs.

Hannity has done a nice job keeping all this shit in a legal fashion, in good order. You could get lost in this shit pretty easy.
If this stuff ends up in court for half the shit Hannity has disclosed, it will be very interesting.
